Ever since Push 2 came out with sample chopping I’ve been getting questions on how to manually chop your samples from the controller.
For those that don’t wish to use autochop, or the live chopping feature, manual chopping gives you more control over the sample chopping process.
It’s basically the concept of adjusting the start and end points of your sample, and duplicating it to multiple pads so you can have different chops on each pad.
It may not be evident upon first look but this process is actually quite simple to do directly from Push 2, so all those that prefer to work this way you’re not stuck with the automatic slicing options of Push 2.

duplicate pads saved my life!!!
Nice, definitely a welcome addition!
Thanks saintjoe for this tutorial. I just purchased Push for some of my live production. This saved a ton of time.
Cheers
