I’ve been getting some questions about on how to enable or disable a device in a chain directly from the Push 2 controller.
In this quick tip video I show you how it’s done, so that you can quickly audition your sounds and instruments with or without various devices in the chain.
I’m all about workflow and sometimes it’s the little things that can really enhance your overall experience. Of course if you have any questions let me know!

But how to enable/disable the device in “note editor” mode (you can edit automations in Melodic Sequencer pushing “Device”, hold the note in the sequencer and change the parameters of your selected device). But i didn’t find a way to “turn on/off” the device via the melodic sequencer…
As far as I know, that is not a parameter that you can automate. The on/off tab for the device disappears when you’re in step automation mode.
I have a max for live LFO controlling an Auto Filter’s parameter. If I disable the LFO that parameter locks and I lose control of the parameter. I want to have it controlled but be able to take manual control for performance. Does this make sense?
Yes it makes sense. Once you have it being controlled by the LFO that’s the control. If you disable it then it can no longer be controlled. Maybe having two versions of the device, one locked to LFO and one for manual control would be useful?
